About this position

The Claim Assessor (Officer - Senior Officer) is responsible for verifying, managing, and handling claims, ensuring compliance with authority limits and service level agreements, while coordinating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Verify, manage and handle major and minor claims for individual and group.
• Pre-assess and approve claims within authority limits within SLA.
• Medical report review and follow-up medical information.
• Coordinate with third party regarding claim decision making.
• Liaise with external and internal departments regarding theirs requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing science, medical technology or related medical fields.
• At least 2 – 3 years of medical insurance experience in claim assessment and processing.
• Life insurance experience is a plus.
• Able to work under pressure and manage claim activities to meet timeline.
• Internal and External customer commitment oriented.
• Familiar with MS office applications.
• Good Communication and negotiation Skills.
