About this position

The Air Freight Reservation Officer (Cargo) is responsible for managing air freight reservations, negotiating rates, and ensuring efficient space utilization while maintaining accurate shipment data.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and request airlines for competitive rate.
• Secure space according to the allotment and fully utilise efficiently.
• Plan space efficiently for daily space booking request.
• Ensure the most efficient in shipment consolidation.
• Input the shipment data in systems daily and accurately.
• Monitor o/b and irre, report to all concerns in appropriate time.
• Request stock Awb from airlines, ensure no stock AWB shortage and ready to be used all the time.
• Provide / reply competitive rate to sales upon requests.
• All kind of reports and admin work.
• Others the assignment by line manager.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Business or related fields.
• Year of experience: At least 1 years experienced in Air Freight business.
• Good command of English, both of written and spoken.
• Able to operate PC and Microsoft Office.
• Immediate or quick to start working is preferred.
