Kuraray GC Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (KGC) is a Joint Venture between Kuraray Co., Ltd, PTTGC and Sumitomo Corporation. The three companies are co-investing in the project to develop a Performance and Specialty Chemicals Business to manufacture Super Engineering Plastic (High-Heat Resistant Polyamide-9T, or PA9T) and Hydrogenated Styrenic Block Copolymer (HSBC) products in Thailand. Kuraray Co., Ltd has a subsidiary company, Kuraray Advanced Chemicals (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (KAC) which is located in the same area, producing 3-Methyl-1,5-Pentanedial (MPD). KGC and KAC are managed and supervised under same Management team, sharing common Policy, Mission, Vision and Goal.

About this position

The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing transportation operations, managing shipping documents, ensuring customs clearance, and handling BOI-related processes in Bangkok.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing operations of transportation, ISO tanks, Lorry Yard, and other related matters and other logistics management
• Prepare daily reports for shipment tracking to ensure timely deliveries.
• Pre-book vessel space following forecast shipment from sales.
• Control and verify Freight forwarder, Transportation, and External WH bills before sending to account team for payment and uploading documents to SAP for the record.
• SAP input for SD Module.
• Solve the problem of all processes to smooth operation work
• Co-operate with carriers and forwarding agents for B/L checking confirmation.
• Prepare Marine insurance for each shipment.
• Prepare Multimodal Dangerous Goods Form
• Prepare FORM FTA (submit Rule of origin by-product, key in shipment details by shipment)
• Contact BOI and Investor Club for related activities/operations, including submitting new BOI stock and a new BOI formula.
• Submit BOI approval for import shipment, renew BOI card, recheck max stock, etc.
• Preparing BOI documents and reports relating to stock/ scrap, raw materials, machinery, spare part registration for re-export / repair, etc.
• Control import of raw material and components under BOI privileges and coordinate with the BOI Officer (Laem Cha-bang or Bangkok) for various BOI issues.
• Dealing with Customs formalities and regulations of imported raw materials and finished goods for import and export.
• Arrange import, and export customs clearance with shipping agents.
• Processing all documentation concerning BOI requirements
• Applying for BOI approval for raw materials, extension or revision of BOI privilege, and scrap report.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply chain, Business administration, or related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in logistics management, focusing on Chemical business.
• Experience in Logistics management, Shipping documents, and Customs clearance.
• Experience in BOI processes such as new project approval, Amendment, and Raw material stock control (Formula, cutting stock balance, Disposal, etc.) will be considered as a plus.
• Fluent in English communication
