National Contract Logistics Business Development Manager

Your Responsibilities:
• To develop + manage a sizeable pipeline of opportunities, actively driving each opportunity through the entire Customer Engagement Cycle.
• To lead commercial negotiations + create high quality business proposals.
• To actively develop + maintain customer contacts along with a network of prospects.
• To actively network + link with other colleagues (Subject matter experts, Vertical Specialists, Account Managers) at every level of the organisation, from global to regional to country.
• To highlight achievements in the business development space using a variety of dynamic tools.
• To capture + manage business + market intelligence, ensuring the communication of same to key stakeholders.
• To drive + roll-out yearly business development plans.
Requirements
Your Skills And Experiences:
• The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience as business development in contract logistics or 3PL environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and consult clients on their requirements.
• Proficient in preparing RFQs or RFIs, negotiating terms, collecting business intelligence, and managing contracts.
• Experience in the automotive or retail sectors is highly preferable. A person from different vertical welcome to apply as well.
• Exposure to or experience in solution design is an added advantage.
