About this position

The Lead Solution Architecture position involves overseeing the architecture department, leading a team of Solution Architects, and ensuring a cohesive technology strategy that aligns with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the architecture department, leading a team of Solution Architects and collaborating with System Analysts to ensure a cohesive technology strategy.
• Develop and maintain a high-level vision for the architectural design of the company's products, ensuring that the architecture supports and enhances business goals.
• Champion the creation and evolution of a common platform architecture designed for maximum reusability and efficiency across different business products.
• Drive the adoption of architectural best practices, standards, and new technologies across the organization to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Guide the architectural team in translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and robust architectural designs.
• Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align architectural initiatives with company strategy and product roadmaps.
• Ensure that all technology decisions and implementations are aligned with the business’s needs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor architecture staff, nurturing their professional growth and aligning their efforts with the organization’s vision.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of emerging technologies to determine their potential impact and applicability to the company’s architectural goals.
• Communicate architectural plans and strategies effectively to stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in architecture are a plus.
• 8+ of overall working experience in Solution Architecture.
• 3 - 5 years in IT Solution Architecting / Business Analyst and Project Manager role.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in management level.
• Proven experience in an architectural leadership role, with a strong portfolio of successful technology projects.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience in people management and team development.
• Extensive knowledge of software architecture, cloud computing, and platform development.
• Familiarity with financial industry standards, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to influence and drive decision-making processes.
• Willingness to learn and high adaptability to change.
