About this position

Your primary objective will be to collaborate closely with stakeholders across various business units, compliance teams, and enterprise data owners to drive Business Unit compliance with data governance procedures and enhance or improve process related to Privacy Notice, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), data disclosure to third parties, and data retention practices. This role holds significant responsibility in safeguarding the privacy of our customers' data while simultaneously fostering innovation and efficiency within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Process Execution: Routinely implement process controls to ensure that Business Unit activities or projects align with data privacy requirements and data governance procedures. Track and follow up with Business Units to ensure all required compliance actions regarding Data Privacy are completed and delivered.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage various stakeholders and their respective expectations. Establish and maintain effective communication channels, tracking progress, and following up with methods to ensure transparent and timely exchange of information. Actively engage stakeholders throughout the process to address concerns and solicit feedback.
• Alignment with Strategic Objectives: Ensure that all data privacy initiatives and projects align with the organization's strategic objectives. Regularly assess project progress against strategic goals and make adjustments as needed to maintain alignment and maximize impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration and communication among various business teams, IT teams, and other stakeholders involved in data privacy initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to promote understanding and alignment on data privacy requirements and solutions.
• Operational Process Improvement: Develop, monitor, and enhance operational processes related to privacy notices, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), data disclosure to third parties, and data retention. Continuously review and improve processes to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry best practices.
• Data Governance Alignment: Operate and align data governance practices with the organization's overall data strategy. Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that support data privacy objectives and regulatory compliance.
