About this position

The ASEAN Operational Governance Project position involves developing and implementing a comprehensive operational governance framework, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance governance practices across the ASEAN region.

Responsibilities

• Governance Framework Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive operational governance framework that aligns with corporate policies and regional regulations.
• Group Governance Policy and Framework Implementation: Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures across all operational units within the ASEAN region. (e.g., the application of Policies or PCRF to group companies).
• Compliance Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor operational activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, IT, Operations, Finance and Audit to ensure cohesive governance practices.
• Training and Development: Ensure relevant governance training programs is rolled out across all operational units within the ASEAN region to enhance awareness and understanding of governance policies and procedures among employees.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and governance standards.
• Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and ensure timely communication and implementation of necessary adjustments within the organization.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of governance practices and operational compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Law, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is advantage.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on operational governance or compliance, preferably within the ASEAN region.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks within the ASEAN region.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management tools and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
