Senior Product Engineer (OEM)
About this position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Engineer with a strong background in AHU product design, particularly within the engineering team of a reputable company. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting our OEM Fans in the HVAC market, including data center ventilation systems.
Responsibilities
• Conduct competitive benchmarking of major competitors by researching their fan products, sales, and marketing strategies, and provide data to support decision-making.
• Review and prepare product data for catalogues, flyers, sales materials, and other commercial documents for marketing and promotional activities.
• Offer technical sales support to sales offices by providing necessary product information, best practices, application knowledge, and recommendations for OEM fan selection.
• Engage with sales offices and customers to understand their requirements and develop actions to meet these needs.
• Analyze and provide pricing support to the Sales Team.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team on product teardown and competitive benchmarking studies to generate cost reduction ideas and contribute to continuous cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in sales-related conferences, trade shows, workshops, and meetings to stay updated on current developments in the fan industry.
• Review OEM fan product sales data from all offices to identify gaps, analyze sales volume, and document best practices.
• Prepare, review, and organize product presentation materials and promotional strategies for customers and sales offices.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical sales support and marketing role, preferably in the HVAC or fan-related industry.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly initiative-driven, adaptable, reliable, and personable, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about technical sales support and marketing, with a strong aptitude for providing solutions and solving problems.
