Warehouse Officer
About this position
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the good receipt process, conducting audits, and supporting shipment operations to ensure efficient warehouse management.
Responsibilities
Tasks & responsibilities:
• From monitoring shipment expected for arrival and keep Service provider informed.
• Check if there is any oversize parts that need additional material handling equipment and raise Purchase requisitions.
• Monitor counting process and if there is discrepancy in the inward Invoice and the actual material receipt, to inform customs and Service provider to take corrective action.
• Support the Warehouse supervisor.
functions Periodical Audit of locations
• Go to each sample location and check for storage correctness and provide reports of the audit.
• Check for improper storage that can cause damage, not safely stored or required packing improvement Declared Missing parts.
• To study the caused of declared missing parts and try to identify the part in the warehouse and certify if they are really missing parts for re-order.
Packing audits
• Periodically conduct audits of packed parts if they are labelled and stored properly.
• Support in claims raised by customers to investigate, Less / Over / damaged / wrong parts and report the causes for future corrective action.
Shipment support.
• For urgent packing and emergency shipment follow-up closely with Service provider to ensure faster packing to be ready for shipments.
Requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or any related fields
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Order management, or Logistics, or Purchasing.
• Able to work in SAP system (Material management module).
• Good command in English (Read, Written, Spoken).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Required: Vlookup, Pivot table).
• Proactive thinking, Problem solving competence.
