About this position

The Layout Designer is responsible for developing concepts and solutions for the filling and packaging industries, ensuring effective planning and coordination with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Development of concepts and solutions for the filling and packaging industries
• Preparation of alternative solutions
• Planning for quotation and orders in consideration of line issues such as usability, accessibility, material handling, etc.
• Clarification and coordination of the layout-solution with the planning experts
• Coordination with the relevant persons in the product lines regarding technical questions
• Clarifying of customer requirements with the sales representatives
• Perform order modifications
• Perform all specific technical calculations, for example dimensioning of buffer sections on basis of given formula and data tables
• Focus responsibility will be within SEA

Requirements

• Completed technical study or a comparable qualification – machine and process related knowledge
• Advanced skills in SAP (module PDM)
• Good Knowledge with CAD software and Medusa knowledge are welcome
• Elaborated communication skills (internal and customer related)
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel within SEA-Region
