About this position

The Legal Officer will provide legal assistance and advice to various business and operational units, ensuring compliance and managing legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance and advice to the business and operational units across a variety of legal matters; e.g. technical regulations, advertising, tax, operation sales, HR.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage all types of legal documents including group and non-group agreements, commercial agreements, property agreements, and legal binding documents.
• Optimize legal and business security/compliance: corporate documents, legal compliance documentation, preliminary authorization, compulsory standards, insurance policy.
• Manage and review legal matters handled by external counsels; i.e. litigation cases (pre-litigation, trial and/or transaction) and other legal issues.
• Monitor visa and work permit of expat staff, within conditions of custom of immigration. (Percent of Thai staff/expat and investment register)

Requirements

• Thai Nationality only.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Law, Business Law.
• At least 2-5 years experiences in Corporate legal, and/or law firms.
• Lawyer license, preferable.
• Excellent command of English / good communication and soft skills.
• Service minded and be able to work independent and under tight time line.
