About this position

As the Retail Shop Architect at Konvy, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of our retail stores across Thailand. With your 5+ years of direct experience in constructing Konvy shops, you will ensure that each location reflects our brand identity, provides an exceptional customer experience, and optimizes operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative and functional design concepts for new Konvy retail stores, incorporating brand elements and visual merchandising strategies.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, plans, and 3D models for each store project.
• Collaborate with interior designers, project managers, and contractors to translate design concepts into reality.
• Ensure that designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Oversee the construction process from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure that construction is completed to the highest quality standards.
• Evaluate existing Konvy stores and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of design, functionality, and customer experience.
• Develop and implement renovation plans for existing stores, as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to store teams on maintenance and upkeep of store design elements.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and innovations in retail design and architecture.
• Research and source new materials, finishes, and technologies for store construction.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure alignment between store design and brand strategy.
• Represent Konvy at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in designing and overseeing the construction of Konvy retail shops across Thailand.
• Strong proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Passion for creating innovative and functional retail spaces.
