Vice President - Brand Strategy
About this position
The Vice President of Brand Strategy will be responsible for leading the brand strategy and vision, ensuring brand consistency across all channels, and driving brand growth and awareness. This role will develop and execute innovative brand initiatives that resonate with customers, differentiate the brand in the market, and align with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
• Create and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform brand positioning.
• Oversee all aspects of brand management, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual identity, and overall brand experience.
• Lead and mentor the brand strategy team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and execution across all touchpoints.
• Conceptualize and execute innovative brand campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
• Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor and assess brand performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, and agencies.
• Manage and allocate the brand strategy budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals.
• Serve as a brand ambassador and represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in merchandising, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in budget control and OTB management required.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive results.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in merchandising software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to travel as needed for vendor meetings and trade shows.
• Strong negotiation skills and a results-oriented mindset.
