Merchandise Planner
About this position
The Merchandise Planner is responsible for overseeing the preparation of purchasing budgets and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards, and collaborating with various teams to gather necessary data.
Responsibilities
• Oversee, monitor, and follow up on the preparation of purchasing budgets and reports by subordinates.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions to management for review and approval.
• Supervise and verify the preparation of key reports and documents, including: OTB (Open-to-Buy) plans, Consolidated financial reports, Monthly budget closing reports.
• Ensure all documents align with company standards and policies.
• Collaborate with relevant teams, including procurement, finance, and operations, to gather data for accurate budget and report preparation.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Advanced MS Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting for budgeting and reporting.
• Proven experience in merchandise planning, financial reporting, or budgeting, preferably in a retail or merchandise environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
