The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for contributing ideas to enhance service experience, managing performance and capacity, working closely with developers, monitoring production services, and providing insight into operational, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
• Contribute ideas and researching (technological and product) to enhance the overall service experience.
• Performance management and capacity planning.
• Work closely with developers during the deployment and testing phases.
• Monitor and maintain the health and availability of our production services in order to prevent outage and issues.
• Provide insight into operational, security, and performance.
Requirements
• Experience in Development, Software Engineering, or DevOps (Required)
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments (Required)
• Medium level scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, etc (Required)
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud) (Required)
• Experience with container and container management (Docker, Kubernetes etc) (Required)
• Good team player, but also able to work under own initiative (Required)
