Buyer (Perfume & Cosmetics)
About this position
The Buyer (Perfume & Cosmetics) is responsible for negotiating trade terms, managing inventory, designing store layouts, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with brands and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement and overall efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Negotiate trade terms, including margins and exchange rates, to align them efficiently with the company's policies and objectives.
• Develop a plan to address slow-moving inventory, aging products, and expired goods, aiming for a clear and collaborative solution with suppliers and relevant internal departments.
• Design a new store layout, select brands, and make decisions using both external and internal data to inform your choices.
• Analyze sales figures, inventory levels, expired products, or other reports as assigned by superiors. Coordinate with teams, track progress, participate in planning meetings, and provide summaries to relevant internal departments.
• Study and regularly compare selling prices with main competitors. Negotiate to ensure the company benefits from advantageous deals.
• Propose a framework for increasing sales through collaboration with brands and the marketing team. Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement across various channels.
• Attend meetings with relevant internal departments to plan, streamline repetitive tasks, and explore innovative approaches for improving overall efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Economy, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related fields.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience (Fashion Retail, Cosmetic Perfume, etc.)
• Knowledge of Import & Export.
• Experience in Retail Business/Procurement of Goods.
• Good command of Microsoft Office skills and English proficiency.
