Business Analyst
About this position
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in Marketing Automation to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on supporting and optimizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that marketing automation strategies align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, promotion, partnership) to gather and define business requirements for marketing automation campaigns and solutions.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current marketing automation processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, engagement, and ROI.
• Solution Design: Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers, ensuring SFMC capabilities are leveraged effectively.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct regular performance analysis of marketing campaigns, tracking KPIs and suggesting optimization strategies to improve campaign outcomes.
• Integration Management: Assist in integrating SFMC with other systems (CRM, web analytics, social media) to ensure a seamless flow of data and information.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for all SFMC-related inquiries, providing timely updates and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Testing & QA: Oversee the end-to-end testing of automated marketing workflows to ensure accuracy and functionality prior to deployment.
• Support & Training: Provide post-implementation support and deliver training to end-users on SFMC features and functionality.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a marketing automation or CRM environment.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including tools like Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Audience Builder, and Mobile Studio.
• Proven track record of managing marketing automation projects from concept to execution.
• Strong knowledge of SFMC features and capabilities.
• Familiarity with SQL, AMPscript, and other SFMC development languages.
• Understanding of data management, segmentation, and customer journey mapping.
• Experience with SFMC integration with external platforms (CRM, Database).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with other marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
