About this position

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to support and continuously improve the company’s Supplier Quality Program and supplier base.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the quality of component and supplier are met the requirements of regulation, customer and company.
• Review and drive for supplier’s Failure Analysis, Corrective & Preventive Actions for completeness & closure with effectiveness regarding 8D methodologies.
• Conduct or/and support activity of supplier evaluation, supplier audit and supplier improvement.
• Be a part of supplier development team to support Sourcing team for new supplier selection, audit and supplier’s PPAP or supplier’s qualification package review.
• Supplier Change Control.
• Collaborate between internal organization and suppliers to solve the quality issue of material.
• Able to communicate and work with oversea suppliers.
• Be a part of Global Supplier Quality Council to support the global growth.
• Work with MRB team for the Non-Conforming issue of Raw Material and control Non-Conforming to meet on the company’s target.

Requirements

• B.Eng or higher in engineering in the field of electronics or mechanic or plastic injection molding or equivalence.
• Minimum 3 years in Supplier Quality working experience.
• Experience in Plastic assembly or PCBA Assembly will be advantage.
• Good leadership & communication skills.
• Good English communication.
• Certified internal auditor or have experience of QMS and manufacturing process audit.
