Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / NPI Project Engineer
About this position
The Manufacturing Engineer (NPI Project) is responsible for leading technical initiatives for new customers and major NPI projects, serving as a key contact for technical and engineering topics, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
• Technical Team Leader for new customer and/or major NPI.
• Technical Leader for major customers.
• Be customer contact for technical/engineering topics.
• Lead and Coordinate within Engineering organization and cross functional team for technical related issue.
• Support PCBA manufacturing process: Wave Soldering, Selective Wave Soldering, Conformal Coating, Ultrasonic Welding, Box Build, etc./Process Engineer (Front Ent) PCBA process assembly experience in SMT, wave soldering and mechanical assembly.
• Process & Yield improvement & optimization with using Six Sigma tools e.g. DOE or other statistical techniques.
• Provide technical expertise to support product Design For Manufacturing (DFM).
• Work with customer for technical items/issues.
• Prepare changes, additions and modifications which will facilitate manufacturing process.
• Design tooling, fixture e.g. Stencil, Wave Pallets, Assembly fixtures, etc.
• Prepare process validation document to customer.
• Create/maintain documentation (Process Flow FMEA, Control Plan & Work Instruction) to support production.
• Productivity Improvement
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• High Technical Experience, 3-10 years’ experience in PCBA and Box Build process e.g. Wave soldering, Selective wave soldering, conformal coating, Ultrasonic Welding, Box build, etc.
• Has Knowledge and Experience in Plastic assembly, Mechanical Assembly, Box Build are advantage.
• Experience in Automotive & Medical Device requirement is an advantage.
• Good Project management skill.

• Pro-active Thinking and Good attitude.
• Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
• Able to use Minitab.
• Able to work under pressure.
