About this position
Responsibilities
Strategy
• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for C&D.
• Identify business priorities that C&D can support, ensuring alignment with broader corporate strategies.
• Develop a roadmap for data/channel/mobile application initiatives, outlining short- and long-term goals, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and track progress towards business goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital strategy.
Data Product
Project Management
• Project Planning and Scope Definition: Define project objectives, deliverables, and scope based on stakeholder needs.
• Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
• Project Delivery and Post-Project Analysis
Promote Data Driven Organization
• Collaborate with business units to identify and prioritize data use cases that align with strategic goals.
• Assess potential for new data products, services, or monetization strategies that create business value.
• Conduct competitive analyses to benchmark data capabilities against industry standards and identify growth opportunities.
• Promote a data-driven culture, encouraging the adoption of data in decision-making at all levels.
• Develop and implement data literacy programs to help employees understand and use data effectively.
• Act as a data advocate, demonstrating the strategic importance of data and building cross-functional support for data initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree: Typically in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Economics.
• Advanced Degree (optional but beneficial): A Master’s or MBA with a focus on data science, business analytics, or information management is often preferred for senior roles, as it demonstrates deeper expertise in both data and business strategy.
• 5-10 years of experience in data-related roles (e.g., data analyst, data engineer, business analyst) and at least a few years in a strategic or leadership capacity.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills, including experience working cross-functionally with business, technical, and executive teams.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate data strategies, explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders, and foster data literacy.
• Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to identify data-driven opportunities, solve complex problems, and adapt strategies to changing conditions.
• Able to handle a workload under pressure with competing priorities.
• Specific knowledge and skill / ความรู้เฉพาะตำแหน่ง:
• Python, SQL, R, SQL, NoSQL and Scala.
• Certifications.
