Responsibilities
• Channel Management
• Grocery Sales (Distributed via distributor)
• Oversee the grocery sales section, managing the relationship with distributor, to ensure effective product distribution and sales growth.
• Collaborate with distributor to optimize product availability, trade promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of distributor to ensure alignment with Kewpie's business objectives.
• Chilled Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Products (Directly Managed)
• Lead the sales efforts for Chilled RTE products, managing the channel independently.
• Develop and implement tailored strategies to drive sales for Chilled RTE products in key retail channels.
• Establish and maintain direct relationships with retailers to enhance product placement, promotions, and brand visibility.
• Trade Marketing
• Plan and execute trade marketing initiatives for both grocery and Chilled RTE products to boost brand presence and sales performance.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align trade marketing strategies with overall brand objectives.
• Design in-store activation campaigns, promotional programs, and merchandising activities to enhance the customer experience.
• Sales Planning and Execution
• Develop annual sales plans and forecasts for both sections, ensuring they meet company targets and market demands.
• Monitor sales performance and KPIs for each section, identifying and addressing gaps proactively.
• Prepare detailed sales reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration
• Lead and manage the sales teams for grocery and Chilled RTE products, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with company goals.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Foster a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Customer and Distributor Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor and key retail partners to ensure smooth operations and business growth.
• Negotiate trade terms, promotions, and contracts to maximize sales and profitability.
• Proactively address customer and distributor concerns to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
• Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of channel management and trade marketing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategies.
• Leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales management software.
