About this position

Kerry is seeking a Technical Manager for Animal Nutrition in the APMEA region, focusing on livestock nutrition, enzymes, probiotics, emulsifiers, and preservatives. The role involves providing technical sales support, developing customer relationships, and contributing to long-term growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Technical Sales Support: Manage and lead the technical support function, including new product development and launch. Identify and champion technical support programs to drive sales and retention: ex: sugar analysis, fiber analysis, Able to run feed formulation scenarios to showcase how using one of our feed additives can support greater ROI at the plant or on the farm.
• Sales Support: Assist Account Managers in the region as a Technical Manager. Help establish Kerry as a long-term supplier in key customer accounts by developing and maintaining good customer relationships. Utilize direct contacts and networking in the industry to build relationships.
• Customer Retention: Ensure that appropriate resources and actions are recommended to solve customer issues to retain customers and create loyalty.
• Strategic Sales Role: Work with the sales team to develop and support long-term growth strategies and identify new product and new market opportunities.
• Customer & Research Trials: Identify and develop opportunities for institutional research and customer trials to support sales. Provide recommendations on research partnerships, design trial protocols, interpret results and communicate the results.
• Budgets: Participate in development of annual research budgets and take appropriate actions to achieve them.

Requirements

• Graduate PhD in Animal Nutrition are preferred (open to new graduates)
• Expert knowledge of feed enzymes
• Work and or research experience in poultry nutrition related to enzymes and/or digestibility and/or growth and/or feed efficiency
