About this position

The Procurement Specialist (Chinese Speaking) is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of items, and maintaining supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing compare, select and negotiate for the direct and in-direct procurement.
• Coordinate with suppliers mainly from local and oversea to ensure that all items are delivered on-time.
• Create related reports and documents and evaluate supplier performance.
• Confirm terms of payment and delivery conditions in order to prepare Purchase Orders (PO).
• Ensure that appropriate level of authorization is received prior to releasing the orders.
• Negotiate for cost reduction.
• Internal communication with warehouse team for stock management such as supplies and assets.
• Other task as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Experience in Buyer, Oversea purchasing, Sourcing at least 1-4 years.
• Good command of Chinese and communication skills.
• Familiar with MS Office Applications, ERP, SAP system.
• Ability to work under pressure and work independently.
• Good systematic thinking, analytical skills.
• Communications and negotiation skills.
