Learning & Development Specialist
About this position
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for identifying training needs, facilitating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the organization
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather input and insights regarding training needs
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops, either in-person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and impactful learning experience for participants
• Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs
• Analyze training data and feedback to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
• Oversee the organization's learning management system, ensuring proper functionality, accessibility, and user support
• Manage course catalog, enrollments, and reporting within the Government system
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field
• Proven at least 3 years of experience in training facilitation
• Familiarity with various learning methodologies, e-Learning authoring tools, and multimedia production
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using learning management systems and other related software
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness
