Business Development Manager/ Asst. Manager (Sales)
About this position
The Business Development Manager / Assistant Manager will be based in the Bangkok region and will report directly to the Head of the Commercial Manager. The Business Development Manager/Assistant Manager will be responsible for maximizing the number of sales in Thailand, ensuring our clients’ overall business operations are optimized both in warehouse occupancy and also additional ‘value added’ logistics services. This will involve taking a hands-on role in motivating, leading, and supporting an existing team of talented business development staff, ensuring the team achieves targets.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for the sales and marketing for driving business revenue performance and development of the new Business opportunity. (new customer)
• Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects and LSA Management (Create contract proposal in proper solutions for business)
• To drive volume and revenue growth to meet or exceed agreed targets of the department and to achieve revenue Target
• Conduct one-on-one reviews with all BD subordinates to build more effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight for the improvement of BD. team sales and activity performance.
• Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFQ responses
Requirements
• BA or Master in MBA (Sales and Marketing, Logistics or Related business filed)
• At Least 5 years in Sales and Marketing in Logistics, Warehouses, and Distribution, (Logistics Contract – 3PL)
• Highly responsible and able to take ownership of tasks assigned
• Time management, prioritization, and organization skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to be an effective team player.
• Fluency in written and oral communication (English and Thai)
