Senior Automation and Electrical Control Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Initiate and develop the Automation and control strategies to drive a SMART manufacturing roadmap
• Lead a flawless automation project execution
• Provide technical support on Process Control Systems and Automation (PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Instrument, etc.).
• Ability to apply new technologies for continuous improvement of productivity, Safety, Quality, and Sustainability.
• Design testing CA/IQ/OQ/CSV protocols and perform testing and validation for project related to Industrial Control System
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to PLC, SCADA, MES and related equipment
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of the new systems and processes
• Lead Industrial Control System projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, compliance to quality and safety requirements
• Provide technical support and assistance in the integration of IT and OT systems
• Lead training sessions for end-users on the new systems and processes
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in in Electrical, Controls, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, Industrial Control System and IT/OT transformation
• Strong knowledge in IT/OT network and infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of IT/OT network design and implementation
• Specialized proficiency in PLC or DCS based control systems, SCADA systems and general automation systems (such as AVEVA Wonderware, Rockwell FactoryTalk, etc.)
• Having experience in Smart Factory or Industry 4.0 is preferable.
• Capital project experience, including PM (scope/cost/schedule) role,
• Experience working in a regulated GMP environment.
