R&D Senior Scientist Product Development Skin Health and Beauty
About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible for delivering innovation projects for Skin Health & Beauty brands in Asia (Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, OGX®).
• Develop learning plans to ensure R&D deliverables for the project are mapped out and met.
• Partner with the R&D multi-functional team to determine the testing needs to ensure learning plans are delivered with excellence. These may include formulation changes, claims, etc.
• Share recommendations with regional and global teams on what is needed to deliver consumer delight for consumers in Asia. Translate consumer needs into product experience deliverables.
• Partner with relevant functions to ensure that product experiences delight the target consumer via robust consumer understanding and testing.
• Working as part of a multi-functional team as well as being able to manage your own workplan and run experimental programs independently.
• Participate & update on progress of work program in cross-functional project teams (eg - R&D, Business and Supply Chain).
• Create rigorous data sets and strong advice that allows business leaders to take data-based decisions.
• Participate and represent R&D in Regional and Global project forums.

Requirements
• Passion about products and science, combining requirements on product performance & quality, together with strong consumer insight.
• Strong communicator and ensure innovations deliver On-Time-in-Full.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development or related field.
• Experience in Skin Health and Beauty product development is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
