About this position

As a Sr Finance & Accounting Representative, you are responsible to oversee and manage all financial, accounting, and tax-related activities within the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Review and verify financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Manage tax compliance for corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other statutory taxes.
• Prepare and submit timely tax returns to local and international tax authorities.
• Review tax calculations, identify tax risks, and recommend solutions to minimize liabilities.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations, advising the business on potential impacts.
• Ensure financial records and processes are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits or reviews.
• Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Participate in financial planning and decision-making processes for new business initiatives or projects.
• Support cross-functional teams with financial analysis and risk assessment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and tax, preferably in a similar industry.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
• In-depth knowledge of tax compliance and planning, including corporate income tax, VAT, payroll tax, and other local and international tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial documentation.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and able to drive improvements in financial processes.
• Ability to adapt to changing financial environments and regulations.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in all dealings.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Willing to be placed in Alam Sutera.
