Assistant Automation Campaign Manager
About this position
As an Assistant Automation Campaign Manager, you are responsible to assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of automated marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on email marketing. You will be responsible for supporting personalized, data-driven marketing strategies across various channels (email, SMS, social media, etc.) to enhance customer engagement and drive revenue growth in a retail or e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in developing and managing email marketing campaigns, including creating automation workflows for promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement email, SMS, and push notification campaigns, ensuring they align with overall business goals.
• Use automation tools to segment audiences, set up triggered campaigns, and execute personalized email marketing strategies.
• Monitor and analyze email marketing performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates, bounce rates, and overall campaign ROI.
• Support A/B testing for email content, subject lines, and designs to optimize campaign performance.
• Maintain up-to-date customer lists and segments for targeted email marketing and ensure accurate tracking and reporting on email campaign outcomes.
• Collaborate with content and creative teams to craft compelling and personalized email content.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, etc.).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in email marketing and automation tools to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on email marketing and marketing automation, preferably in e-commerce or retail.
• Experience using marketing automation platforms, preferably MoEngage.
• Expertise in email marketing platforms and automation tools.
• Proficiency in segmenting audiences and setting up automation workflows in email marketing tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret email campaign data and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to work closely with creative, content, and analytics teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
