About this position
Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
• Support monitoring of daily IT security operations and assist in analyzing root causes to recommend mitigation strategies.
• Help enforce security policies and procedures to protect against potential threats.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and industry requirements.
• Assist in maintaining the Cyber Security Management Dashboard to track security control statuses.
• Support IT security audits and help provide recommendations for improvements.
• Contribute to incident response activities, assisting in investigating security incidents or breaches.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Basic understanding of IT security concepts, including vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security practices and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• A keen interest in staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity.
