About this position

The Advanced IT Security Engineer at KBTG will lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, focusing on security operations, assessments, project implementation, and incident response to protect the organization's information assets.

Responsibilities

• Support management to leading and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance on security operations, security assessment, security project implement and incident response.
• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the organization's information assets.
• Conducting regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Supervise in developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation for cybersecurity projects.
• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and providing training and awareness to team members and other employees.
• Responding to security incidents and leading the incident response process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security project implementation, security consulting, security assessment, managing security operations and incident response.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
