About this position

The Technical Sales Assistant Manager - Chemicals (Toiletries/Cosmetic) is responsible for managing the sales team, driving sales growth, and building strong customer relationships while implementing strategic sales plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive sales team to achieve sales & profit targets and sale growth.
• Design and implement a strategic sales plan to expand company business and maintain customer presence (Focus on Toiletries & Pharmaceutical port: Fatty Chemicals and Surfactants)
• Build and promote strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
• Present and preparing sales reports with realistic action to management team.
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience of Technical Sales & Marketing.
• Familiar with Fatty Chemicals and Surfactants will be advantage.
• Technical Engineer/ R&D experience will be preferred.
• Formulation lab and product application experience will be advantage.
• Strong business and industry expertise (Chemical business; Toiletries/ Personal Care/ Pharmaceutical)
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill.
• Driver License is required.
