Safety Manager (Chemical & Consumer Plant)
About this position
We are looking for a Safety Manager to work at Amata City Chonburi, focusing on the Chemical & Consumer Plant.
Responsibilities
• Plan, implement, and execute safety management programs
• Lead site to sustain safety system implementation e.g. ISO 45001, PSM, security
• Provide technical expertise, consultancy and interpretation of PSM requirement, fire prevention and protection system design code and safety standard.
• Set-up safety framework, KPI and plan according to company objective and policy.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and performance reviews to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with internal/external departments, contractors, vendors and business partners with the common goal to prevent incident
• Initiate and maintain safety program/plan to escalate & maintain safety culture
• Design, develop, lead implement and ensure compliance to best practice, program, procedure
• Maintain OHS technical competency and assume site OHS trainer lead
• Assume safety role per OH&S regulations e.g.
- Review, recommend and follow-up to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead to conduct HIRA and propose action
- Analyze and propose for continuous improvement of OHS performance
- Audit and follow-up to ensure compliance to site standard
- Lead monitoring working environment and physical check-up and follow-up
- Assume trainer role of relevant topic
- Lead site emergency response
- Lead investigation process through completion, follow-up and sharing
- Consolidate safety performance incl. analysis
• Safety Activities.
Requirements
• Min. Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Safety Engineering or related fields and possess safety officer qualification.
• Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action.
• Knowledge of risk analysis, process safety management, major incidents investigation and safety audits.
• Knowledge experience in Chemical Industry (incl. PSM).
• 10+ yrs experience in Occupational Health & Safety of practical orientated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong in Leadership & Safety Awareness.
• Able to work at Amata Chonburi.
