Senior Financial Reporting Manager
About this position
JULO is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Reporting Manager to support its growth ambitions by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, while leading a team of financial professionals.
Responsibilities
• Perform & manage the accurate and compliant preparation and presentation of financial reports, ensuring adherence to accounting standards GAAP / IFRS.
• Manage the consolidation & intercompany transaction of financial statements from various entities within the organization.
• Guide and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards, and maintain internal control policies to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide insights into financial trends.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with historical data and analysis.
• Prepare and present financial reports to upper management and stakeholders, liaise with external auditors, and respond to financial information requests.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline and automate reporting and consolidation processes, and lead financial system upgrades.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements, coordinate year-end audits, ensure regulatory compliance (ie: OJK), and support annual budgeting and financial planning.
• Provide financial analysis for special projects and strategic initiatives, assist with new accounting standards.
• Assist with preparing consolidated financial statements, managing audits, resolving internal audit queries, and performing risk checks in accounting.
• Support group reporting and projects.
Requirements
• Min. 10 years in accounting/reporting/consolidation, with min. 5 years prior experience at a Big Four firm being preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards, such as GAAP and IFRS, or other relevant frameworks.
• Expertise in preparing and consolidating financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and variance analysis.
• Experience in financial industries or listed companies will be a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of taxation is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to present complex financial data clearly to stakeholders (fluent in English).
