About this position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Field Collection Team Leader to oversee our Field Collection, especially in the Outregion (Bandung and Surabaya Area). As a Field Collection Team Leader, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to effectively manage the Field Collection team in order to collect outstanding debts owed to our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of field collections agents, providing guidance, support, and training suggestions as needed in order to team grooming, motivation and development.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of the field collections team, implementing measures to improve productivity and success rates.
• Ensure team performance to achieve the repayment rate.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, collections strategy, and quality assurance, to resolve complex or escalated issues.
• Able to prepare regular reports on collections activities, presenting data and insights to upper management if needed.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to collections challenges.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all records and communications.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in collections, with at least 6 months in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections, including fair debt collection practices.
• Proficiency in using collections software and systems.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collections targets.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
