Corporate Affairs & Communications Director
About this position
The Corporate Affairs & Communications Director at JTI Thailand will lead the function with a focus on regulatory issues, tax strategies, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Lead and work cross-functionally to form JTI Thailand’s fiscal strategy.
• Recommends, plans, develops, and implements Fiscal and Tax Affairs strategies and relevant programs.
• Interact with relevant stakeholders to shape the political and regulatory environment.
• Liaise with the Market GM and relevant functions of JTI APAC for local deployment of global and regional projects.
• Propose and manage the budget allocated for the area of responsibility assigned.
• Monitor, analyse, and assess political, legislative, and regulatory developments.
• Supervise the preparation of analyses, background materials, and position papers.
• Identify and suggest optimal ways for JTI to present its views and positions.
• Maintain good contacts and communication with the news media.
• Define key messages and influence public opinion.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate affairs, communications, or related field.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and political landscapes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead strategic initiatives.
• Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of media relations and public relations strategies.
• Proven track record of building relationships with key stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Thai languages.
