Assistant Warehouse Manager
About this position
Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing, and follow up warehouse and logistics activities to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operation in accordance with HSEQ requirements and service targets.
Responsibilities
• Manage daily warehousing activities to ensure efficient and accurate stock in/out movements, completion of shop tint orders and supports distributions in achieving operational and overall OTIF and all other relevant KPIs.
• Conduct stock counts, reconcile, variance and update the system, ensure IFS parameters are timely with properly maintained. Handle with goods damage, warehouse abnormity and complaint.
• Daily warehouse tracking & information feedback and Cooperate with CSD, Planning, Production to arrange and tracking urgent order. Provide suitable solution for urgent case with reasonable cost.
• Record and provide required data to superior, including extra warehouse cost caused by urgent order or any other needs from customer.
• Arrange and tracking goods return. Coordinate with CSD, Planning, Production, Sale or related parties to smooth the return process.
• Establish and revamp/improve where required, distribution related processes and procedures to ensure optimized efficiency with warehouse operations and overall business efficiency and targets.
• Manage, monitor and ensure that warehousing systems and physical inventories are updated correctly always to support order handling processes and overall inventory management.
• Develop overall competency, morale and professionalism of the function through coaching, hiring and talent retention – at all levels of staff within the functional organisation.
• Drive improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and effectiveness within the Supply Chain functions and within the organisation.
• Establish framework for core activities and roles within the Warehouse & Distribution function, in line with functional KPIs and Business strategies.
• Monitor and drive compliance of internal governance and local regulations.
• Prepare and submit periodic management reports and progress updates as and when required.
• Shall follow the HSEQ requirements and reporting a near-miss or any unsafe.
• Throughout the day, monitor warehousing activities progress and periodically or when required reports delivery status and any accident/incidents within the standard timeline established.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in any fields
• At least 5 years working experience in Warehouse, logistic and planning with people management.
• Ability to work fast and calm under pressure.
• Multi task, active manage and control loading bays.
• Strong MS Excel skills to analyze and prepare periodic load plans.
• Knowledge and familiar with standard warehousing documents and standards; shipping/logistics documents and procedures
• Able to write, speak and listening in English
