Lean Manufacturing Senior Engineer
About this position
The Lean Manufacturing Senior Engineer will focus on plant-wide lean and continuous improvement projects, assisting in the development and implementation of a Lean Strategy to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
• Focus on plant-wide lean and continuous improvement projects, including process improvement.
• To assist in the development of a Lean Strategy to be implemented plant-wide.
• Support and facilitate ongoing growth and cost reduction by conducting Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping Events and Lean training as needed.
• Coaching and training employees in lean methodologies.
• Coordinate technical knowledge, related Work Integrated Learning training, including curriculum presentations of new features and simulation activities in a demo environment.
• Develop an efficient training system to manage processes and improve training course.
• Supporting development and implementation of the lean roadmap.
• Work on rapid response certification program to ensure consistency across requirement.
• Responsible for defining technical requirements, process flow diagrams and test strategies of the solutions required for production projects.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
• Profound knowledge of lean methodologies.
• Minimum of 5 years in practical experience in project management, lean management.
• Strong implementation of change within the field of manufacturing.
• Black Belt or Green Belt certification (Consideration is a plus).
• Business English both spoken and written is required.
