About this position

The Oversea Purchasing Officer will be responsible for coordinating with overseas suppliers, managing procurement, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting the sales team in coordinating with Chinese customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with overseas suppliers and manage procurement including negotiations with various suppliers.
• Coordinate, claim process, and documentation with related departments and outsource align with Company SOP.
• Analyze and compare shipment cost to present related departments.
• Coordinate and find a solution with the concerned department if there is an unexpected problem.
• Follow up on the procurement process.
• Support sales team related to coordination with Chinese customers, such as marketing, customers meeting, translating, and answering emails, etc.
• Translate content text of company's products for marketing media.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field.
• Experience in overseas purchasing, import-export or relevant fields will be preferred.
• Engineering background will be preferred.
• Strong skills in negotiation and communication skills with customers, suppliers, other departments, and related.
• Good skills in documents and Time Management.
• Good computer skill (MS Office) and willing to learn other software systems.
• Ability to work as a team. Fast learning, self-development, and energetic.
• Excellent English communication skills in both listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Chinese communication skills (HSK Level 6).
• Translator skill.
