About this position

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Process Engineer responsible for the operational and financial performance of manufacturing lines, ensuring product quality and compliance with safety regulations, while collaborating with various teams to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the manufacturing lines operational and financial performance in line with Section’s annual operating plan commitment and start-up requirements.
• Ensure that all products produced meet the CQV criteria.
• Ensure that all quality QP's (e.g., Hazard Analytical Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)) and safety regulations are in place, monitored and followed by corrective actions.
• Working closely with the Plant Manager / Section Manager you will inform and shape line and Section budget requirements and will deliver adherence to budget figures approved by the Section and Site.
• Tracking and reporting to deviations will form a significant part of the role and your focus will ensure the area has the most cost-effective production process, while meeting the production schedule with best quality at lowest possible costs in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate with R&D, Operations, and manufacturing personnel, as needed. May also work directly with both internal and external suppliers and/or customers.
• You will also ensure Safety Health & Environmental standards are met, setting out clear risk assessment creation timescales and adherence to all safety policies.

Requirements

• University Degree (Bachelor) or higher in Engineering or another related field.
• Languages: Local - Fluent; English – Intermediate/Communication.
• Proven experience of delivering significant CAPEX / NPD projects.
• Strong engineering background ideally within a process manufacturing environment.
• Experience of hands-on commissioning.
• Experience of mixing and packing process.
