QC Engineer
About this position
The QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met during production, addressing defects, and collaborating with various departments to enhance quality control processes.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly and effectively to address any issues or defects identified during production.
• Collaborate with various departments to maintain quality standards.
• Oversee inhouse part testing and inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defective parts and implement corrective actions to address quality issues base on QC-Story.
• Document inspection results, maintain records of non-conformance, and prepare quality reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to automotive industry standards such as ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, and other relevant regulations.
• Continuously monitor and improve quality control processes to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 – 3 years of experience in Quality assurance or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive parts.
• Experience in aluminum parts or related to casting and machining processes will be an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Good problem solving and analysis skill.
• Proficient in quality management software (Microsoft, Minitab, SPSS, or etc.)
• Good command in English.
