About this position
The Chief Process Engineer or Assistant Manager (Aluminum Die Casting) is responsible for driving and managing aluminum casting and machining engineering activities to achieve performance goals and standards.
Responsibilities
• Drive and manage Aluminum Casting and machining engineering activities and performance to achieve goals, targets and standards.
• Solve quality problem of casting and machining process.
• Develop High pressure Die Casting process manufacturing parameters.
• Troubleshoot and implement corrective action for casting quality issues.
• Analyze and solve complex casting design problems.
• Set up the work standard and continuous maintaining and improving.
• Maintain and improve the quality and productivity of manufacturing.
• Promote technical cost reduction of internal part.
• Manage JPH and OEE improvement activity.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical engineering, Material Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Process Engineering with manufacturing field, especially in Aluminum Casting process.
• Have experience in supervisory or management level.
• Have experience in aluminum casting process design and aluminum machining process will be advantage.
• Good problem solving and analysis skill.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Good command in English.
