Responsibilities
• Take full ownership of the brand's Profit and Loss (P&L), ensuring financial targets are achieved.
• Monitor and control sales budgets, margins, and expenses to optimize profitability.
• Conduct detailed sales analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Approve and manage sales forecasts, ensuring alignment with market demands.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory planning based on forecasts.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide item-level forecasts and insights to ensure the right products are promoted and sold.
• Set and implement ambitious sales growth targets, creating actionable plans to achieve them.
• Lead the development and execution of sales plans, promotions, and campaigns to boost revenue.
• Collaborate with the R&D team, providing insights on past product performance and customer preferences.
• Suggest improvements and new product ideas based on sales data and market trends.
• Coach and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure cohesive execution of business strategies.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in sales operations or a similar role, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and financial analysis.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing sales forecasts.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
