About this position
The Food Specialist - CPS Coffee is responsible for market research, food innovation, product development, team training, and administrative support to enhance the coffee menu and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging food trends and identifying creative opportunities for CPS Coffee’s evolving menu.
• Propose and develop innovative food products that align with the brand’s identity and customer preferences.
• Lead the end-to-end process of launching new menu items, including:
• Concept presentation with mood and tone.
• Self-testing for recipe feasibility.
• Team presentations and refinement.
• Internal testing and adjustments.
• Finalizing GP, cost structure, and training materials.
• Preparing manuals and updating POS system ingredient files.
• Create and deliver training programs for store staff, ensuring clear communication and practical understanding.
• Ensure smooth implementation of new items, tailored for the fast-paced coffee business.
• Manage documentation, including GP analysis, cost calculations, and training materials.
• Maintain accuracy and accessibility of all records.
Requirements
• Proven experience of 3+ years in the F&B industry in roles such as Food Innovation, Menu Development, Product Development, Food Specialist, or similar positions.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills to clearly convey concepts and ideas effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable in executing tasks and ensuring timely follow-ups.
