Sales Engineer - Modernization Sales and Service Sales Engineer.
About this position
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced Sales Engineer with a technical/engineering background in project sales. The ideal candidate will be strong in mobilizing personal and team sales targets, providing consultative sales to customers, and demonstrating strategic thinking and planning.
Responsibilities
• Mobilize the personal targets together with the team sales targets.
• Be a sales specialist and consultative to the customer.
• Strategic thinking and planning.
• Strong in communication, and people skills.
• Collect feedback on market requirements and competitor intelligence.
• Ensure the work is on time and accurate submission to the customer.
• Ensure on-time and accurate reporting in the company sales tools (CRM).
• Reports directly to the Large Project Sales Manager.
• Develop potential customer list and control MOD sales activities in Modernization to achieve sale turnover and agreed margin.
• Build and maintain a customer relationship with both new and existing customer to ensure their maximum satisfaction and thereby leading to long-term relationship and sale.
• Develop and control sale strategy for modernization sale in order to achieve modernization sale target.
• To organize and control Mod project deployment to ensure that Mod project cost in inline with cost estimate and completion as per customer target date.
• Accountable for collecting the first payment and payment securities to ensure that projects are operated with minimum commercial risks.
• Monitors the expiring contracts and negotiates with customer for service contract renewal to achieve agreed price increase target.
• Plans and take actions to gain the new business and recover the lost contracts to ensure that the targets will be achieved.
• Builds and maintains a good relationship with both new and existing customer to ensure their maximum satisfaction and thereby leading to long-term business relationship.
• Makes sales visit and closes sale deal in order to achieve service contract sales targets.
• Accountable for request invoicing to FAD for all service contracts are under responsible area to ensure no outstanding billing.
