Safety Officer (Chiang Mai Branch)
About this position
The Safety Officer at the Chiang Mai Branch is responsible for enforcing safety standards, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Responsibilities
• Enforce safety standard in accordance with the company policies and government regulation.
• Prepare and provide adequate safety training to employees and subcontractors to improve their safety behavior.
• Random visit to jobsites to ensure the Schindler safety standards/procedures and Thailand safety policy are followed.
• Prepare all necessary safety documents and reports according to Schindler and government requirement including conduct incident investigations.
• Initiate safety activities and campaigns to raise safety awareness of employees and subcontractors.
• Assist Safety Manager in all safety related issues.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Safety and Health or Bachelor Degree with Professional Safety and Health Certificate.
• 2 – 3 years in Safety functions.
• Good in people management and communication skill. Able to control low level workers.
• Experienced in Professional Safety and Health Certificate.
• Experienced in elevator & escalator or construction industry would be an advantage.
• Good command in English both written and spoken.
