About this position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations team's performance, developing efficient inventory tracking systems, and implementing strategies to enhance supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations team's performance
• Develop the most efficient inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
• Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
• Supervise & evaluate all deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
• Monitor supply performance, quality, and city operations metrics to ensure solid supply coverage and utilisation
• Develop a detailed and reasonable cost control plan to control operating costs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Industry, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in supply chain (warehouse management, logistics, etc) with a proven track record of success
• Previous experience in process improvement, operations, or similar roles, preferably in offline/online retail or FMCG
• Demonstrated experience in building processes from scratch, especially related to retail store operations
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage end-to-end process development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Highly adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and staff management skills
