About this position
The Farming Data Analytics position involves collecting, processing, and analyzing data to optimize shrimp production and provide insights into farm performance.
Responsibilities
• Collect data from various sources, including sensors, IoT devices, and manual recording systems.
• Clean, process, and integrate data from diverse sources into a format suitable for analysis.
• Design and build databases and data pipelines to effectively store and manage data.
• Develop predictive models and analyses to optimize shrimp production, such as harvest forecasting, disease detection, and feed optimization.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports to provide management with insights into farm performance, and analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning and data mining.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and data architecture.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Interest in the fisheries industry, particularly shrimp aquaculture.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate analysis results effectively.
• Willingness to be stationed in Lalombi.
