Jagota Brother Trading Co., Ltd is the leading food supplier of more than 700 kinds e.g. frozen food, seafood, Japanese food, bakery and fruits. Our main customers are hotels, Thai restaurants, Italian restaurants, Japanese restaurants, food factories, supermarket, schools and fresh market. About this position

The Operations Manager for the Phuket Branch will oversee warehouse and inventory management, logistics and distribution, team leadership, process improvement, and reporting and compliance to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure product quality.
• Oversee proper product rotation, labeling, and quality inspections.
• Manage routing and scheduling of deliveries to meet customer requirements while optimizing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Oversee the administration of product returns and credits in accordance with company policy.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and driver staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Hold regular safety meetings and staff training sessions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and security requirements.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies, including health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and personnel activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a managerial role; experience in the food distribution industry is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in performance management and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with routing software is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
