About this position

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer with a strong background in Constuction Business to join our team. This role will primarily focus on procurement activities for construction projects, with a particular emphasis on Substation, Solar or Mechanical Systems construction.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for substation construction projects
• Evaluate supplier bids, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and budget requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Manage procurement documentation and reporting for project progress.
• Stay updated on market trends and supplier innovations to optimize procurement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
• Familiarity with construction business is a strong advantage.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP, procurement software, and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
